I Am No Grasshopper!
Starting this to try out the small stones challenge for the month of Jan. My goal is to notice and appreciate God's creation as well as His awesome love for me, an undeserving sinner.

Jan 10 - Crystals
Shimmery crystals beneath our feet as the snow reflects the lights.
Jan 9 - Snow Tendrils
Delicate wisps of powder blowing in the breeze.
Jan 8 - Drums
Listening to the wonderful sound of the drums and cymbals.
A mother watching her son praise God with his small wooden sticks.

Jan 7 - Tracing Hearts
As I sit here tracing hearts, I am excited about the new adventure of a creation in progress. Also a little aprehensive of the daunting task of it all going together right. A quilt is a beautiful work of art if it ends up going right. Is this a good idea right now? I suppose I will see when it is done!

Jan 6 - Am I Really Here?
Do you see me?
Do you feel me?
Do you hear me?
Do you smell me?
Do you taste me?
Am I really here?
I need to know I am here.
Do you feel me?
Do you hear me?
Do you smell me?
Do you taste me?
Am I really here?
I need to know I am here.
Jan 5 - Cooking
A dish of aromatic ingredients meld into a single creation. It would be thought that all would be subtle in their own way with none standing out much. One simple ingredient can easily overpower the others. How much so does one person's presence overpower others in a group? Am I overpowering in a positive or negative way?

Jan 4 - Old Barns
Abandoned, beaten by the elements
Peeled paint chipping, decaying boards
Leaning and weak supports
How do I compare, Lord?
Come renovate me!
